Friday Favorites

Happy Friday Ladies!
Today I am linking up with Andrea , Erika and Narci for Friday Favorites.  Be sure to grab the graphic and link up too!
I talk all the time about how sad I am that my babies are all growing up, and I do get weepy about it often, but there is really something so great about seeing your child become an adult, and having such a great relationship with them.  I am so thankful for the amazing man Harrison is growing up to be...definitely a favorite of mine!
We have been gone so much lately, so I was really treasuring some "girl talk" with Liv Saturday morning!
These two hadn't seen each for 3 days, she was over the moon excited to have her sidekick back home!  These two and their sweet bond is always a favorite of mine!
Alone time with my husband is so rare, so I was totally soaking up every single second of him sleeping on me.  This most favorite favorite!
My friend Nathen, moved away a few years back and happened to be in town for the race this past weekend.  It was so good to see him and catch up.  Maintaining friendships with lots of miles in between is definitely a favorite.

Lunch dates with my crew is always a favorite for us all!
Hope you all have a great weekend.  We will be at the ballfield pretty much all weekend!  See you back here Monday for our Weekend Wrap-Up!

A Few of My Favorite Summer Staples

Happy Thursday Ladies!
I don't know about you guys, but over here, we LOVE a short week!  The older kids are testing this week, so there hasn't been homework for them.  Olivia went on a field trip Tuesday, so due to their very short week, there was no homework for her either...and well that just makes for one happy mommy!
Now that summer has arrived, and it has in full force here with our crazy hot days already, I thought I would share a few things that are pretty much staples for me during the summer.
I have talked before how much we look forward to the summer and not doing a whole heck of a lot...I love being able to just wear comfortable clothing around the house!  I was in Old Navy last week and I found the most comfortable shorts ever!
I bought these in 3 different colors.  I love them...I have worn them a ton lately!  And the price is just right!
I also picked up these shorts...they are really cute...and bonus they are buttons, no zippers, just pure comfort!
I have a few of these tank tops and I love them.  So easy to throw on with a pair of shorts!  Summers are extremely HOT here, so I am a huge fan of this lightweight tank!
You guys already know how much I love this top from Target.  I have worn it a ton already, and I know I will continue to wear it all summer long!
I would rather wear pants than shorts any day, but as I mentioned before it gets very HOT here, but I absolutely love these pants from Old Navy.  They are so light weight, and who doesn't love a nice crisp white pair of pants for the summer!
You just can't beat a great pair of denim shorts, easy to wear and they go with everything, and can be dressed up and dressed them.
I bought these exact shorts a few weeks ago and love them.  And they were under $25....I hate spending a lot of money on shorts.
During the summer I pretty much only wear flip-flops...I have written before about how much I love my Tory Burch Miller Sandals , I have two pair and absolutely love them.  They are a bit pricey, however this is my third year wearing these.  I definitely feel like I have gotten my moneys worth!
Hands down these are my favorite shoes to wear!
Would love to know what some of your summer staples are!  Be sure to check back tomorrow for Friday Favorites.  Have a great day.

Weekend Wrap-Up...Tuesday Edition

Hello Ladies!  Hope everyone had a fantastic holiday weekend!
Not gonna lie....this just makes me HAPPY!
It's always tough hearing that alarm go off after a nice long holiday weekend!  We had a really great weekend, and it was so nice to have a weekend off from baseball.  You guys know how much I LOVE watching AJ play ball, but I would be lying if I didn't look forward to those rare tournament free weekends.
We had another jam packed weekend, that included very little sleep and a little too much alcohol and fun!

Our original plans were to take the little kids up to the race track with us and camp out, but seeing as no one else was bringing children, we decided it probably wasn't the best environment to bring them to.
I spent most of Friday packing up all the things Mark and I would need for the weekend, and making sure I had everything situated for the little kids.
I quickly snapped this picture Friday on my way up to the track, it wasn't long before a gazillion people were up there....complete craziness!
We camp at some property that my husband's company owns, it is such a super fun time...the pool, the fire, good friends....pretty close to perfect in my book.
Everyone just having fun around the fire.
On Saturday, Mark had to work, so I woke up super early and drove back home to spend some time with the little kids.  It's always nice getting time away, but I do miss them terribly!
This girl was up bright and early and we spent some time on the deck just chatting...she is precious!
Her friend had to stop by and show Olivia all her new Shopkins, it was pretty intense
Super sweet Shopkins loving friends.
My boys at's our favorite.
These two!!
After some lunch and shopping, I brought them back home, they were super excited to get to just hang out with their big sis that night!
I got back up to the campground before Mark was done working so I was able to catch a nap and it was fabulous!
Once everyone got off work, the fun resumed!
One of my friends happened to be in town from PA for the race, and I was so excited it all worked out that we got to see each other!  It is always so fun seeing old friends!
Such a fun night!
Sunday morning I was up at 6 a.m., to head back home, Brooke had to go into work, so I headed back to hang out with the littles.
Another lunch date with my crew...Olivia was too busy chatting with the waitress for a picture.
I am not even ashamed that I ate this entire was delicious!
After lunch and laundry I loaded them up to spend the night at my mom's house!  I am so thankful for my mom...she is the absolute best, and my kiddos have the best time going to grandmas!
My hubby and my them both so much!
I am so thankful for Mark...he is such an amazing husband and father...there are no words to describe how much I love this man!
We opted to not go to the big race is a very long race, and we were just exhausted!  When everyone left to head out to the track, we decided to go to dinner...
This dessert was so flippin' good!  Toffee cake, with caramel, butterscotch, rum sauce and ice cream...heaven in a skillet for sure!
As we were driving back from dinner to the campground we both kinda looked at each other and just said how exhausted we were.  We had such a fabulous time these past two weekends, but partying at our age is a heck of a lot different than when we were 20!  We got back to our camper, put on our sweats, popped a bag of popcorn and sat on the couch and watched the race.  It was SO nice to just relax!
The perfect ending to a perfect husband asleep on me!
Monday I spent the day grocery shopping, doing laundry, and getting things ready for the week!  The past two weekends have been an absolute BLAST, however, I am so ready to be back in "mommy mode"!
See you back here tomorrow for a few of my favorites that I have been wearing lately!

Favorite Things Party...Hair Products Edition

Happy Memorial Day!

Today I am linking up with Andrea and Erika for their "Favorite Thing's Party"...and today it is all about our favorite hair products!  Can't wait to read everyone's..I am always on the lookout for great new hair products!
and here is the list for all the upcoming favorite things series.....

I am always interested when women start talking about their favorite hair products...some of them are so pricey, so I love hearing what others think, before I start spending my money on them!
First let me start off by saying I have HORRIBLE is dry, over processed, constantly's just awful!
I have probably tried every single shampoo/conditioner known to man...and I absolutely LOVE Pureology.
I absolutely love this shampoo and conditioner.  It is a little more expensive than I would like...but it lasts me like 3 months!  I only wash my hair every 2/3 days.

I wear my hair straight all the time, and it isn't naturally straight, but it's not nice beachy wavy either, it's like a frizzy mess, so I LOVE LOVE LOVE this product from Aveda.
This stuff is GREAT!
If you guys have not used Moroccan Oil you need to...this stuff is FABULOUS!!  I use it on my hair when it's dry, primarily on the ends and it takes away any frizziness I have and just leaves my hair shiny and smooth!
Miracle in a bottle!
If you are looking for an amazing hairspray, go and get this one...I have been using it for YEARS!
And probably my most favorite, and most used item for my hair is my flat iron ....I bought it last year and I wish I had bought it sooner!
So there you have it...a few of my favorite hair products!  I am super excited to read what everyone else is loving!

Friday Favorites

Happy Friday Girls!
I don't know about you, but I am super excited for a three day weekend!
Today I am linking up with Andrea , Erika , and Narci and sharing my Friday Favorites!  Be sure to grab the graphic and link up too!

I mentioned this amazing shirt yesterday.  I have worn it twice already in a week and I love it.  It is super adorable, I get a ton of compliments on it, and it is under $ should all go grab one now!
I love getting gifts, and my absolute favorite ones to receive are the ones my kids make for me.  AJ made me this little dish, and he told me he made it for me so I can keep some of my jewelry in it on my dresser.  I am going to do exactly that with this...super special artwork from my babies is always a favorite of mine!
Lately I have a serious love affair with anything pineapple...I just love it.
I was in Nordstrom last week and I picked up this adorable new case for my phone.  I absolutely love it.  It looks so good on the gold iPhone.
Nordstrom has a great sale going on right now...I had been eyeing this adorable cover-up for Olivia for about a month now, but just couldn't bring myself to spend $42.00 for it...well right now it is on sale for $ is expected to be delivered today and I cannot wait!
When I saw this quote Sunday morning, Mark and I just started perfectly explained my exact situation at that moment...a good time out with my husband is always a favorite of mine...even with a 4 day recovery period:)
Most of you know the weekends are always a favorite of mine...and well it's a long holiday weekend it's just that much better!

Peach Green Tea Lemonade...if you have not yet tried it, you need to.  I had my first one last year, and I have been hooked ever since.  It's the perfect summer drink!

Hope you all have a great holiday weekend!  See you back here next week!
