Weekend Wrap-Up

Happy Monday Ladies!

I cannot even believe Christmas is in 4 days!  Yikes!

Hope everyone had a great weekend!  We had a fun weekend over here!

Olivia's last day of school was Thursday, so our original plan for Friday was for me, Liv and Brooke to have a girls day...however the boys informed me Thursday once their exams were over they could be picked up!  So the girls and I hung out Friday morning, then we headed over to grab the boys at 11:30 and we all went and did some shopping and had lunch!  It was really nice to just hang out with all of them!

Us girls wanted Panera, and boys wanted Chick Fill A, so we grabbed them some and they ate it at Panera!

I just love these girls so much!  Brooke is not only an AMAZING daughter, but she is seriously hands down the absolute BEST sister ever!  We are all so lucky she is ours!

These two....

Just typical lunch with these two crazies...always goofing around!

After a yummy lunch and lots of laughs, we headed to Target!  It was a super fun afternoon, and a great way to kick off winter break!

We spent the rest of the afternoon watching Christmas movies and waiting for Mark to get home!

Friday night Mark and I went our got our 2015 ornament for the tree!

Love this!

Mark hanging the elf!

It is at times a pain remembering to move this elf, but we have so much fun with it!

Saturday morning we all slept in a bit, then Mark and I headed out after lunch to do a little shopping and check into our hotel and get ready for his company Christmas party.

This shirt is definitely my favorite!  Every mom needs this shirt!

Where we live is beautiful, but it is not super convenient to any shopping!  Since Mark's party was not far from Nordstrom I took the opportunity to make a few returns I needed to and shop a bit!

The weather was absolutely PERFECT here in Florida Saturday...it was cool and just perfect!  Mark and I had such a nice afternoon just walking around outside, checking out lots of great stores!

Everything was 20% off at Anthro, so we picked up these new glasses!

I had gotten these slippers a few weeks ago, and LOVED them at first, however I found that after a few wears and the fur getting matted down, they were pretty much sliding off my feet, and next size down was just too small....so I decided to exchange them.

After looking at all the different slippers these came home with me!  I cannot even begin to tell you guys how comfy they are.  A lot of the Ugg slippers can be a little stiff...these are so cushiony inside and super flexible...I absolutely LOVE them!  And yes I realize many will think $119 is just insane for a pair of slippers..so you don't need to remind me:)

After we were done shopping we headed to the hotel to get ready for the Christmas party.  Since Mark only just started his job in November we weren't sure what to expect at the party, but we were super excited for a kid free night out!

LOVE!

We had such a nice night!  The party was beautiful, we had a great time eating, drinking and making new friends!  I am already looking forward to next year!

After the party we headed to our room, watched a little TV and fell asleep.  It was such a perfect night!

We had big plans of sleeping in on Sunday, but we were up by 8!  We got dressed and headed home to the kiddos!

But first...Denny's for breakfast!

And a stop at Dunkin Donuts for the kiddos!

We got home, ate donuts with the kids, and watched football!  It was the perfect way to end a perfect weekend!

Olivia even got in a nap!

Mark and I wrapped some Christmas gifts and spent the rest of the night watching football!

Now...I will be spending the next few days getting ready for Christmas!  I still can't believe it's this week!

Be sure to check back tomorrow, I will be linking up with Andrea and sharing the best gift I ever received!   See you all then!

  2. I hope Olivia's mattress isn't on the floor. Not saying it is, just looks so in the picture and you never post pics of her bedroom. With all your shopping, surely you can purchase a nice bed for your little girl.

    1. Olivia has a beautiful bed in her bedroom...she was in the boys room watching them play their football video game and she passed out on the floor. Please rest assured that our children have beds to sleep in!

    2. Sometimes I'm amazed at the comments you get, Kimm. It's fascinating to me the judgements that people make based on what you put on your blog. It's nice that your responses are classy. God Bless and Merry Christmas.

    3. Thank you Gretchen! People sometimes amaze me...crazy to think because I put up a picture of Olivia taking a nap one would just assume she didn't have a bed...it really is quite laughable ! I never thought to blog or post about her pretty ballerina bed...but I guess I should so everyone knows she has a mattress and box spring to sleep on;). Have a very merry Christmas !

  3. If you don't mind me asking, how tall is Brooke? In some pictures you've had in previous posts, she seems about the same height as Jack! Please don't take this offensively, I'm just curious :) I'm glad you guys had a fun weekend. It's hard to believe Christmas is coming up in less than a week- yikes!! I'm excited and overwhelmed all at the same time!

    1. Thank you! The dress was "dress casual". I'm not even sure I know what that means. Lol. So it was a denim shirt, a tulle skirt, leopard heels and a sparkly necklace and it worked! Have a merry Christmas !
