Friday Favorites

ONE

 

Last week I bought these sandals and I am loving them.  They are the perfect color (I got the platinum) and just super cute.  Definitely a favorite of mine this week.

 

 



TWO

I am so glad it's May 1, and that we have just a few more weeks of school left....summer break right around the corner...definitely a favorite over here!

 

 

THREE

I just started drinking coffee a little over a year ago, and now I can't even get my day started without a cup...and I usually drink a few more throughout the day.  We got our Keurig 2.0 a few months ago when our old one stopped working, and this thing is awesome.  I love that on the weekends when Mark is home, we can make enough for both of us in the little carafe.

 

FOUR

I have a serious love for candles, and there is always one burning in our house.  I was at Bath & Body a few weeks ago getting more shower gel and I saw this candle, took one whiff and knew it needed to come home with me.  It's called Spiced Pineapple Samba and it is amazing.  If you love candles, you need to check this out.  When I bought it they were having a sale, two candles for like $22, so it was a super great deal!

 

FIVE

I have done a post before on my favorite nail polishes, you can read it here .  For the past couple years I have been doing my own nails at home, I got pretty good at it, and I just wasn't enjoying sitting and getting my nails done.  Well I have been seeing a ton of people rave about OPI Mod About You so I knew I needed to go buy some and try it.  I loved the color, but it seemed to go on really "thick" and just didn't look nice.  Well last week I decided to hit up the salon and get a gel manicure with that color.  As much as I didn't enjoy sitting there having them done, I have to admit I am loving the color...I may go back in two weeks and get the exact same color!  Great colored nails...definitely a favorite of mine!

For my anniversary I got this necklace, I only have the "K" one right now, the store didn't have the "M" in stock so we ordered it and should be arriving any day now.  I think this is just so simple and cute to wear with a t-shirt or cute little sundress.  I love wearing jewelry, and I love it even more when there is some meaning behind it.

 

SEVEN

About a month ago I bought a shirt at Nordstrom and got it home, and the darn sensor was still on it, I absolutely HATE that...I mean what a pain in the ass having to run all the way back to the store.  Well last week I bought a pair of jeans and went to put them on Wednesday and son of a gun, if there wasn't one but TWO sensors on them.  At this point I was furious!  I mean aren't those put on the items to prevent them from being stolen?  Well I walked right out of the store and not a single alarm went off.  Anyway, I was super annoyed and called the store and spoke to customer service to let them know I was so annoyed that this happened again, and that obviously the sensors don't work anyway...I mean I did walk out with them on.  Well, you can imagine my surprise when the woman says this to me...."Ma'am we don't expect our customers to come back to the store if our associate fails to remove the sensor, if you can provide me with your address, I will send out an associate and have them remove that for you today".....I was seriously speechless...hands down the absolute best customer service ever.....Nordstrom is now a forever favorite of mine.
