Happy Tuesday Girls! Today I am linking up with Andrea for "Show and Tell Tuesdays"....be sure you are linking up too!
Today we are sharing "A Day in the Life"....I see lots of bloggers do these posts...and I always love them, but I have never thought to do one, well frankly because my day to day life isn't all that interesting!
I tried documenting as much of my day yesterday as I could remember...our "day to day" has been a bit out of whack lately with moving and the kids just starting back to school this week!
My alarm went off at 6:45am and first thing I do when I wake up...head straight to my coffee pot...
I love sitting outside before the kids get up enjoying my coffee...I have to admit I am totally missing my chilly mornings back in NC...it was every bit of like 85 degrees at 7 am this morning!
The little boys started school yesterday, so after my coffee it was in to get their lunches packed!
While they are eating breakfast, I usually head over to my desk, change my calendar and glance over my planner....
Then I always open the blinds and let the light in....
While the kids are getting ready I usually try and get a load of laundry started...
Then make the bed....
Olivia made her bed
Jack waiting to leave...
AJ...well just being AJ....
Around 8:40 we loaded into the car and headed to drop the kids off to school...
Mark walking the boys in on their first day....normally, we will just drop them off in car line.
After dropping the boys off, we headed over to the elementary school and got Olivia all registered and ready to start Tuesday...
We got back home around 9:40 and we did a little yard work outside...
After doing some yard work we headed out for a few errands and some new school supplies for Olivia....we got back home around 2:30 and Mark took a nap, Olivia played quietly in her room and I enjoyed some Hallmark Christmas movies!
Took some chicken out for dinner....
Then sat outside on the porch for a few minutes before it was time to head and get the boys from the bus stop!
Anxiously waiting for the boys to get off the bus and hear all about their first day!
We got back from the bus stop around 4:45 and it was snacks and talk about their first day.
5:00 couldn't come fast enough...I hate Mondays...and this wine was exactly what I was needing.
While the kids were playing mark was whipping up some homemade chicken nuggets for dinner....
While he was cooking...we set the table...
We sat down to eat around 6:00....the nuggets were so yummy!
Dishwasher loaded after dinner and all the kiddos getting showered and ready for dessert and bed!
7:30 and my sweet little girl in bed for 30 minutes of TV time!
And an everyday occurrence over here...my boys beating the crap out of each other!
Settling down to watch our Panthers!
Ending our night watching our Panthers...hoping to be 7-0!
Getting ready to turn my phone off for the night and enjoy the game!
So there was a little peak into my daily life....normally I have errands and more going on during the day, but with just moving and having Mark and the kids home we have been out of whack!
I certainly don't live a glamorous life, but I absolutely love the life I get to lead everyday!
Be sure to check back tomorrow...I'll be sharing with you some of my favorite shoes for fall...though it's 98 degrees here everyday and I'll probably be wearing flip flops for ever!
Have a great day!
I can't believe it's so hot...that's miserable! I love these posts!!
ReplyDeleteHot is an understatement and miserable is correct!! Lol. Have a great day!!!
DeleteHow much fun are these posts? I love this little peek at your life! Hope you guys are enjoying your new spot. It looks beautiful in the photos!

I should be a good girl and turn my phone off. I just mute it!
ReplyDeleteThat is one busy day Kimm! I think it is wonderful that you can do all of that so seamlessly after a big move. Where exactly are you that it is so hot? I understand it though, Corpus Christi is so far south that we rarely get "cold". I love winter time but I really love that we can do anything here almost 12 months a year and most of the time without a coat/jacket. Love your post!!
