Weekend Wrap-Up

Happy Monday Girls!  Seriously do the weekends just go too fast or what??????

No Kidding!!!!!

We are SLOWLY getting back into the routine of things over here.  Last week was a bit rough, and the kids were less than thrilled with me waking them up bright and early every morning!  Not to mention we had like arctic temperatures here last week!  Double yuck!

We had a pretty good weekend and like usual I am sad it's over!

Friday is usually my day to run errands, catch up on housework, etc.  Well I decided that I needed to get back to the gym...so I got a gym membership earlier last week and decided the membership will not benefit me if I don't actually go to the gym!  Ha!  So after I ran a few quick errands after school drop off, I hit the gym...I wish I could say it felt good to be back...but I would be lying!  Two years ago I woke up every single morning at 4:45 and went to the gym, seriously 5 days a week, and even after months of doing that, I still hated it.  I find ZERO pleasure from going to the gym, I just hate it. I was super proud of myself for being on the treadmill for 3 hours 45 minutes.

Blurry picture...but proof I was there!!!!

After the gym I headed home to clean up and wait for the kiddos to come home!  Then it was McDonalds for dinner, (I pretty much undid all my work at the gym for today), and some couch and TV time with the fam!!!!

On Saturday we woke up and had a lazy morning which was nice, then we showered and headed out for a bit.  The past few days it has been absolutely freezing here, and Saturday it was bright, sunny and in the 40's!!

Walking in to have some lunch..I just love walking behind them and seeing them!

Oh how I love this girl!!!

And what is more fun than spitting straw wrappers at each other!  So fantastic this awesome trick my hubby taught them!!!!

After lunch we headed to Old Navy, and everytime we go in there Olivia has to stand by that dog on the front display!!!  We grabbed a few things on sale then we headed home to watch some football.  We are HUGE football fans over here!  We are super excited that our hometown Panthers are playing today.

My husband is a FABULOUS cook, and he really enjoys cooking!  So on Saturday he made us his famous clam chowder soup...it never ever disappoints!!!

Eating this bowl of goodness helped ease the pain of the Panther's loss!

Olivia just kicked back after eating a huge bowl of soup!!

My husband has been wearing Minnetonka slippers for years...I just got my first pair last month....I love them just as much as he does!!!!

On Sunday my intention was to sleep in, and well Olivia had other intentions, she was up by 8!!!  So her and I went downstairs and watched some TV together...I just love my time with her!

On Sunday mornings I usually do my meal planning for the week, write my grocery list, fill out our weekly planner for the fridge, and then make sure I have everything ready in my planner for the week ahead.

I love sitting at my desk, drinking a cup of coffee, and making sure we are ready to tackle the week.  I absolutely LOVE my Weekly Schedule Pad from Erin Condren, I hang it on the fridge every week and the kids are able to see all we have going on that week.

I also LOVE this little magnetic meal planner.  I remember seeing it a while back while I was reading Erika's blog a while back and new it was something I needed!  This eliminates that dreaded question of "mom what's for dinner?"!!!!

After I got all my stuff organized and done for the upcoming week, I ran out to the grocery store, then headed back home!  The rest of day was spent eating more delicious clam chowder, doing laundry, getting backpacks ready for tomorrow, and watching more football!

We are pulling for Green Bay!

Lots of tummy tickles Sunday!

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!  Have the BEST day!!!!
