Weekend Wrap-Up

Happy Monday Ladies!

Pretty much how I feel on a Monday, however I am super glad the kiddos have the entire week off for Thanksgiving Break!

Our weekend was pretty low key over here, but I am NOT complaining about that!

Ignore all the dust from my car, but ugh look at the temperature from Friday...girls it has been so warm here!  This week looks to be a bit cooler and I couldn't be happier!

I picked up a pack of these at Target Friday, and I forgot how much I love them!

After school Olivia was wanted to feel comfy and cozy, so she grabbed my blardigan , smart girl:)  If you have someone on your holiday gift list that loves comfort this would be a great gift for sure!

After pizza for dinner, this girl enjoyed an ice cream sandwich for dessert!

And by 9, mark was passed out!  He slept and I watched Hallmark movies!  Perfect Friday night!

Saturday Mark had to work, so the kids and I hung out in the morning not doing too much of anything!

I decided to get dressed, run to Target and then get my nails done!  It was nice!

I got home, and Olivia had been watching TV in my room, I was not really wanting to watch SpongeBob, but I was too darn lazy to get up and look for the remote to change the channel!

I picked up this cranberry candle from Kohls, and it smells AMAZING!!!!

I had my new favorite drink for lunch with a yummy sandwich!

Olivia has been wearing bathing suit bottoms and tank tops daily, she says its the most perfect outfit to practice gymnastics in!  Gosh I sure love this girl!

After dinner Saturday night, we broke out the pre-cut reindeer sugar cookies!  Always fun and so easy!

I picked up the cutest little basket from the dollar section at Target, I wasn't sure what I was going to use it for, but I am loving it for my K-Cups!

And these burlap trees also came home with me...they are so adorable, and they were only $3!

Saturday night Mark went to bed early and the boys and I stayed up past midnight watching Hallmark movies.  I love time with just them, I love they love Christmas movies as much as I do!  It was a perfect Saturday night!

Sunday morning we woke up early...we decided to this family needed to get back to church.  If I am being honest, we have been awful about church over the past few years.  We never really took the time to find the "right" one for us.  And we never made it a priority!  Mark and I have been talking for about a month now about how we really want to find a church for us.

We went Sunday morning, and sadly we just weren't "feeling" it.  We came home Sunday and did a ton of research, and we are super excited to try another one this week.  From what we have seen online and read, it appears it is exactly what we are looking for.  We are looking for groups for our kids to get involved with, and Mark and I are looking to be involved in groups also!  I will say that even though the church we visited Sunday wasn't for us, it really felt so good going, listening to the pastor.  I am definitely excited to find a church home for us!

These two were pretty excited to go!

After church we came home and I almost immediately changed back into my pajamas!  I love a lazy Sunday!

On the couch, coffee in hand and football was on the TV....PURE PERFECTION!

This girl ate some noodle soup!

And Mark made chili...his chili is the absolute BEST!

I spent the rest of the day in my jammies, eating chili, watching football, enjoying being home with my family!

It was a perfect weekend!  I feel like I have been through so much change in the past month, and at times have been feeling pretty down.  It was a nice relaxing weekend and I realized though my location has changed, my life is still as blessed and amazing as it was back in Charlotte!  Each day, I am learning to love our new home a bit more!  Thank you to everyone who commented and shared ideas with me last week about starting new holiday traditions!  I loved reading all the ideas, and am so thankful to all of you for all your kind words during this tough transition for me!

Have a great Monday!  Be sure to check back tomorrow, I am sharing with you guys something I am really excited about starting!

    1. We are definitely excited about finding a new church. It's been way too long since we have consistently gone and I realized after going yesterday how much I not only missed it, but how much we need it! Have the best week my friend !
