Show & Tell Tuesday

Happy Tuesday Ladies!
The kids head back to school tomorrow, so we are enjoying our last day of break today!  Today I am linking up with Andrea , for "Show & Tell Tuesday"...this is definitely one of my favorite link ups!

Today we are starting things off by kind of "re-introducing" ourselves, telling a bit about us, and sharing any goals and resolutions we have for the upcoming here!
I did a post yesterday about my goals for January, you can read it here , I decided on monthly goals this year instead of one big resolution!
Most of you "know" me, but for those of you that are new over here, I am 41 (YIKES) years old, married to be a pretty great guy, and a mom to 5 kiddos...Brooke 23, Harrison 20, Jack 13, AJ 12 and Olivia 7.    Here is a quick little "get to know me"....
I became a mom when I was just 18 years old...when Brooke was 2 we got married, and went on to have 4 more kids!  Shortly after I had Olivia I went through a divorce, and though our divorce was pretty friendly, it was still a very rough time in my life.  A single mom to 5 is probably the most unappealing thing to any man!  However...I was fortunate enough to meet Mark, the whole 5 kid thing never phased him....fast forward and we have now been together 6 years, and will celebrate 4 years of marriage in April!  I count my blessings and thank God every single day for the life that I have....I have healthy wonderful children, a husband who is down right awesome, and an ex-husband who, even in divorce, never walked away from his responsibilities.  Life is not perfect, but it's pretty damn close to it!
We just recently moved from NC to FL....I am definitely still adjusting, but each day it gets a little easier!  With having 3 young kiddos, our life is definitely full and busy pretty much all the time!  Most weekends are spent at some type of ball field, and we wouldn't have it any other way.  We love watching the kids do their thing!  When we aren't running all over creation with the kids, we love date nights, weekend get a ways, and just hanging home watching TV.  We are pretty simple and low key!
That's my quick little "get to know me" version!  Thanks for stopping by today!  Be sure to check back tomorrow, I will be sharing our weekend wrap-up.

  1. I think there is a mistake (sentence) at the end of your post.
Anyway, have a nice day. It is so cold here in central Europe, that I envy the weather in Florida. :(

  4. It's evident in your Instagram pic that your daughter is sleeping on tile. I'm not suggesting she doesn't have a bed, but you have to understand your readers concerns. If she likes to sleep on the floor, maybe you should address that so you're not under scrutiny. By nature, it concerns people to see young children sleeping on floors constantly.

    1. I'm not exactly sure what you are talking about....but there is absolutely no pictures on my Instagram of my daughter sleeping on a tile floor. I posted ONE picture of my daughter sleeping on a carpeted floor with blankets in her brothers room and you people are going nuts! I wish I had this kind of time on my hands !!!!

    2. Dear anonymous....my concern is how stupid people really are...if I am being honest! I mean no disrespect to anyone, but if I am coming under scrutiny as you are saying because my kid passed out on the carpeted floor , then the people scrutinizing me are pure plain idiots;)

  5. I'm a new reader, so thanks for catching us up! I'm glad that you and your ex husband have such a good relationship, and choose to focus on the kids and respecting one another rather than your differences. Your positive attitude towards him and others is truly inspiring. Sorry about the rude comments, please ignore them. Some people have nothing better to do, unfortunately :( anyways, have an awesome week! Looking forward to weekend wrap up tomorrow!

  6. So great that you have a good relationship with your ex husband and that your children can still see him as often as they do. What a blessing.
