Thursday Thoughts....Home Based Businesses

Happy Thursday Ladies!

One more day until the weekend...can I get an AMEN!!!!

Well today is my last day of work....I am not exactly sure how I feel...I am definitely excited about being able to be home and focus my time and energy here....but I would be lying if I said I wasn't going to miss getting a paycheck!!!

I have been thinking for a few month now about different things I could do from home, around my family's schedule, and still earn a little bit of extra money each month.  A few years back I was a stylist with Stella & Dot, and I loved it, but with going through a divorce, etc, I just didn't have the time to focus on it, and well, I let my contract expire and I never renewed it.  I have been thinking about it again lately, should I join as a stylist again?  Should I maybe try something else?  There are so many great opportunities out there.  I have seen friends have huge success with Stella & Dot, Rodan & Fields, Scentsy, It Works...and the list goes on and on.

I would LOVE to hear from anyone who is doing some sort of home based business, what your thoughts are on it, have you been successful with it, would you recommend it...etc...

Please leave a comment or send me an email, kimmskorner@gmail.com if you have any information you can share with me about what you do!

I saw this and I really needed to read these words today...here is looking to a bright future!

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Be sure to check back tomorrow for Friday Favorites!!!!

  1. Kimm, whatever you decide you will do great!! I've always thought about doing something like Stella & Dot during my summers when things slow down for me. Can't wait to hear what you decide, keep us posted!

  2. I struggle with the same thing; trying to figure out how to make a little money from home. I do work one day a week outside of the home, but would love to find an income AT home! Good luck, girlie! Something will come up!

  3. I have friends that seem to do well selling Melaleuca products. I buy the products but.do not sell them. It seems like a new enough product line that every one may not already have a representative in the area.

  4. Hey Kimm, I sell Thirty-One gifts as a stay home mom and have been for over 4 years now. I love the product and all that the company does for it's consultants. If you are interested, email me at kellibadder@gmail.com or check out my website at www.mythirtyone.com/kel

  5. I see so many successful people with home based businesses. I suck at being in sales of any sort....I sold Willow House (Southern Living) for several years and was a Beachbody consultant for 6 months and it is just something I am not good at. If you have the time to devote to it and don't mind cold calling to schedule parties or convince people to sign under you then I say go for it.
